Find food resources near you
The coronavirus pandemic is exacerbating financial problems that make it difficult or impossible for students and families to purchase food. If you are a student that needs food assistance, this page contains a list of resources to help you find food banks.
Additionally, Governor Newsom has mandated school districts continue to distribute school meals to students. We’ve added a list of resources to help you locate your own or your sibling’s school meal distribution sites.
TIPS:
- If you haven’t already, check if you’re eligible to receive CalFresh benefits.
- Apply for the Pandemic-EBT Card: Families will get up to $365 per eligible child on their P-EBT card to use on food and groceries. Applications close June 30th. (Families with children who get CalFresh, Medi-Cal or Foster Care benefits do not need to apply, they will automatically receive the card in the mail).
- Download the CA Meals for Kids mobile application to quickly locate school meal distribution sites.
